Terms of Use

The rules for joining Lit2Night: who can join, how club memberships are billed and changed, and how your digital pass works.

Last updated

November 2, 2026

Lit2Night is a membership platform: you create a free account, then subscribe to individual clubs — each club priced by the people who run it, in three levels, billed as its own monthly subscription. These terms set out what you and we each agree to.

1.Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use are a contract between you and Lit2Night. They cover your use of lit2night.com, your Lit2Night account, your digital passes, and every club subscription you buy through us.

By creating an account, subscribing to a club, or continuing to use the platform, you confirm you have read and accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not create an account or subscribe.

2.Who can join

  • You must be of legal drinking age where you live — 21 or over in the United States — and you confirm this with your birthday at sign-up.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract, and you must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • One person per account. A pass is personal to you and cannot be shared, sold, gifted or transferred.
  • Clubs check identification at the door. If you cannot prove your age, a club can refuse you entry and your perks for that visit are not replaced.

3.Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly at support@lit2night.com if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account while we investigate suspicious activity, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before we restore it.

4.Clubs, levels and prices

Every club on Lit2Night sets its own levels and prices. Each club offers three levels — Silver, Gold and Black — and each higher level includes the perks of the one below it, plus more. The price and perks shown on the Memberships page at the moment you subscribe are the price and perks you buy.

A club may change its prices or its specials. If a change affects a subscription you hold, we will tell you before your next renewal so you can stay or cancel that club without charge. We may add or remove clubs, and a club can stop trading with us; if it does, we stop billing you for it from the date it ends.

5.How billing works

There is no account fee. You only pay once you subscribe to a club.

  • Each club is its own monthly subscription. Two clubs means two separate monthly charges, each at the level you chose at that club. Nothing is bundled into one combined bill.
  • You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method automatically each month, on the same date you first joined that club, until you cancel it.
  • You are responsible for all charges, including any sales tax that applies to your subscription.
  • If a payment fails, we will retry and ask you to update your payment method through Manage billing. That club's membership can be paused until the payment is fixed; your other clubs are unaffected.
  • Tell us within 60 days if you believe a charge is wrong and we will investigate it with our payment processor.

6.Changing your level

You can move up or down a level at any club, at any time. The new level applies immediately, and the difference is charged or credited to you on the spot. Level changes stay within one club — to move between clubs, cancel one and subscribe to the other.

7.Cancelling a membership

You can cancel any club whenever you like, from My Clubs, with no cancellation fee. Cancelling one club does not touch your other subscriptions.

Perks at a club stop as soon as you cancel that club, and you are not charged again for it. Amounts already paid for the month in progress are not refunded, because the perks for that month were already available to you. You can always cancel before a renewal date to avoid the next charge.

8.Using your digital pass

  • Every club you subscribe to comes with its own digital pass with a QR code, shown in your level's colour on My Clubs.
  • Show the live pass in the app at the door or the bar. Staff scan it and apply the perks for that club and level.
  • A pass is only valid while the matching subscription is active. An expired screenshot, a copy, or someone else's pass will not be honoured.
  • Perks are provided by the club and depend on capacity, house rules, the night, and staff discretion. Entry, a table, or a specific perk cannot be guaranteed at peak times.
  • Passes have no cash value and cannot be resold, bartered or exchanged for cash, and we can revoke a pass that is being misused.

9.Clubs are independent businesses

Lit2Night connects you with clubs; it does not own or operate them. Each club is responsible for its own venue, staff, safety, house rules and decisions at the door, and those rules and the law always apply on top of these terms.

A club can refuse entry, remove someone from the venue, or withdraw perks for a visit where its rules are broken. If something goes wrong at a club, tell us — we will raise it with that club and can end your subscription there without further charge.

10.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share, sell, transfer or lend your account or passes, or run more than one account for the same person;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated means to create accounts, buy memberships, reserve tables or book events;
  • interfere with, disable or probe the security of the platform, or attempt to access another member's data;
  • impersonate anyone, post false information, or use the platform for anything unlawful or harmful;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell our software, branding or reports; or
  • use Lit2Night's name, logo or marks to imply a partnership or endorsement we have not given.

11.Your content and our content

You keep what you submit to us — profile details, messages, photos you choose to add. You give us permission to display it inside the platform, in the ways the features need, such as showing your name and level to a club you subscribe to.

The Lit2Night name, logo, layout, software and reports are ours or our suppliers', and you may use them only to enjoy your membership.

12.Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any club will always be available, that a perk will be available on any particular night, or that entry will be granted.

Nothing here excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud.

13.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lit2Night is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost perks or a wasted visit, and our total liability to you for anything arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid Lit2Night in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Where a cap is not permitted, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

14.Ending your membership

You can cancel any club at any time and close your account through your account settings or by asking us. We may suspend or end your account where you break these terms, where payment is not made, where activity is fraudulent or unsafe, or where we must do so by law. Sections on pricing, liability, ownership and contact details continue to apply after your account ends.

15.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform and the law change. We will post the new date at the top of this page and give you reasonable notice — usually by email — before a material change takes effect, so you can decide whether to keep your subscriptions. Continuing to use Lit2Night after a change means you accept it.

16.Law and disputes

These terms are governed by United States federal law and the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If something goes wrong, contact us first and give us a chance to put it right — most problems are settled that way. If a dispute remains, both sides agree to the courts located in New York County, New York.

17.Contact

Email info@lit2night.com for anything about these terms, partnerships or your account, and support@lit2night.com for help with a pass or a club. Venue owners can apply from the Venue Partnership page.
